D2-100-FC - AC High-speed Ferrite Core XY Trim Magnet
The D2-100-FC is a high-performance steering magnet designed for precision beamline applications. Originally developed for 250 MeV proton therapy beamlines, this versatile magnet can be adapted for various other beamline uses.
It is intended to actively correct beam position offsets caused by random high-speed beam motion, ensuring optimal entry into other magnetic elements such as quadrupoles, dipoles, or larger steering magnets.
The D2-100-FC pairs well with Pyramid's high-speed quadrant detectors and beam position monitors, such as the QIC-6E and the BPM16-38, creating a fully integrated beam correction system.
