F3200E - 32 Channel Fast Digital Electrometer
Mô tả
The F3200E is a 32-channel high-speed current digitizer, giving each channel its own multi-range current-to-voltage converter and independent 14-bit ADC running at 1MHz. All 32 ADCs convert within 20 nanoseconds of each other, and a full 32-channel reading is captured and transferred to local memory in under 500 nanoseconds, so the F3200E can resolve fast-changing, multi-channel signals without channel-to-channel timing skew.
Each channel covers a dynamic range from under 1nA to 10mA across four software-selectable ranges (±10mA, ±1mA, ±100µA, ±10µA, set in groups of four channels), with external accuracy better than ±(0.1% of reading + 0.1% of full scale) after calibration against the built-in precision current sources. Two acquisition modes extend this beyond simple free-running readout: burst mode buffers up to 2000 sets of 32-channel readings on-board for later transfer, and sweep mode averages triggered acquisitions across multiple sweeps, oscilloscope-style, while preserving time resolution.
Communication runs over Ethernet 10/100 (UDP and TCP/IP) or a dual fiber-optic loop, with the F3200E able to act as either a loop controller or a slave device; the fiber ports use Avago HFBR ST bayonet connectors compatible with 1mm plastic optical fiber (POF) and 200µm hard-clad silica (HCS) fiber. An optional integrated high voltage supply (0 to 2000V, in four build-time ranges) includes loopback monitoring for detector bias applications.
