G2 Diagnostic is the configuration and monitoring tool for Pyramid's G2 generation devices: electrometers, loop controllers, and I/O modules alike, on Windows or Linux. It discovers units already on the network and gives each one a live view of its channel data, high voltage, dose, and digital I/O, with dedicated panels for calibration, real-time processing, and interlocks.
This tool is for maintaining existing G2 installations. If you're specifying a new system, look at the MX1 or other IGX based devices instead: they ship with an embedded web GUI, so there is no separate application to install or maintain.

Our Linux version of PTCDiagnosticG2 was compiled on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS 64-bit, also confirmed to work on Fedora 28, and is provided without warranty and may not work on your specific version of Linux. You will need to install the 3rd party "rpcbind" package (available via aptitude, yast, etc) to communicate successfully with C400.
